So with Eishirou back in the picture, I've been thinking about practicing more martial arts. I do still keep semi-regular schedule with it, but some more practice would be nice.

Anyone interested in either learning or if you know some, practice? I can't practice with Eishirou. I'm not getting up at godforsaken hours.

I guess I could look into registering at a dojo...

I'm still undecided. I could make another and make them into earrings or I could make it into a small wolf pendant you can put onto a necklace or a bracelet.

If he was willing to train at a decent hour I might be tempted. But at 4AM? Not a chance.

And where did this particular piece of inspiration come to you? Was it from going to see Hachiko when you were lost in Shibuya?

We decided to spar at 7AM and he had expected for me to be up by that point.

Yeah, pretty much. I didn't want to exactly copy Hachiko, so I did a wolf instead.

... He's got ridiculous expectations. I'm still in bed at 7AM.

Sanada does kendo, but I think he gets up earlier than Kite does. Like 4am. It's ungodly hour to train. Why would you do that to yourself?

That's definitely earlier than Eishirou. Only for like half an hour, but still. I don't get why you gotta go out when the sun's not even up yet. It's crazy.

That's a lovely wolf. What form of jewelry or ornament will the final product take?

I'm still really undecided. I intend to make it into jewelry. Bracelet or a necklace. Maybe eve earrings.

I think it would look nice as a necklace. Would it only be a singular earring if it were to be one, or would you make something matching?

I'd make a double out of it. Granted I'm not sure how same it would look like...

Is it a hair clip or a bracelet? Too close up to tell, but nice workmanship.

I'm leaning towards a bracelet or a necklace, but I can't decide if I'm going to continue and make it a body too. The additional bit is just there to work with it easier.

Do you do earrings as well?

Yah. My main thing are rings, but I like doing different sorts of stuff.

I also do commissions. Usually boss gives me the ones with tiny details so there's also been earrings.

Do you have a website?

Not yet at least. I'm still an apprentice.

I can teach you the basics at least :D Maybe even more if you start to like it.

It's a wolf. I do plan on making one with a fox too, if this is a success. Maybe even a dragon.

It definitely would be. I was the weakest of my team in physical strength but I held my ground pretty well.

Sadly, I don't really know how to draw all that well so it might take time until I get someone else to do it or find an inspirational image.

I'm pretty sure you're still the weakest of all of us, Yuujirou.

Physical strength isn't everything~ If you know how to work against that then you're pretty good.

Of course it's not. Every body type and style has a limitation, it's if you can be adaptable and work around them that matters. Yuujirou was actually better than me at martial arts back at school.

While I won't reschedule my entire everyday life around your sleeping habits, I'm not opposed to some sort of weekly afternoon arrangement.

Your silvercraft has gotten a lot better, though I've a certain fondness for the armband you made me in middle school. Perhaps we could try and work on some form of collaborative project at some point.

Of course I do. I had to replace the clasp once it got worn out, but overall its survived with only minor wear on the base design. We should get together and look over each other's recent works for inspiration sometime soon.

Screened to Kai: Did you have any specific plans for Hirakoba-kun's birthday?

I'd be fine with Thursday afternoons. That's the day I don't go to work at all so I have no reason to wander off.

I know how to make sturdier clasps now, so if you run into that problem again, I can modify it. And sure~ I can do that anytime. Boss would be glad to give me time off for something like this.

I’ll have to wait until I get my class schedule before I can give you definitive times, but Thursday afternoons shouldn’t be a problem.

It bent while I was in Europe for a tournament, and I had to find a replacement on short notice before catching a flight, so the one I found is actually somewhat mismatched, shape wise. I’d appreciate you taking a look at it, just to make sure I attached it properly. You’ve always had steadier hands in these things. We could just talk it over during dinner, since we live in the same building. No need to trouble your employer.

Screened to Kai: He’s indicated to me he’d like to go drinking. Specifically the kind of drinking that involves me also drinking. I don’t know how I get talked into these things.

When I know them for certain I will text you the times. Until school starts, around two or three in the afternoon could be a good time.
